If something is broken, behaving oddly, or missing, write to fitengineeringapps@gmail.com. Bug reports and feature requests are both welcome — a lot of what is in these apps came from somebody asking.
Reporting a bug? It helps enormously if you include: the app name, the version number (Android Settings → Apps → the app → scroll to the bottom), your phone model and Android version, and what you did just before it went wrong.
Common questions
Where is my data stored, and can I move it to a new phone?
Everything lives in the app's private storage on your device — there is no server holding a copy.
WeightManager gives you two routes. In the ☰ menu, Export CSV writes your whole history to a plain text file you can copy to the new phone and read back with Load CSV. Alternatively, connect Health Connect on both phones and your weight history travels with your Google account. Android's own Auto Backup also restores the app's data when you set up a new device, though a manual CSV export before you switch is the safer habit.
Loco Cat keeps only your own settings — scene, prey size and speed, volume and the play options — which stay on that device, and your ad-free purchase, which follows your Google account automatically. There is no history and no profile, so a new phone simply needs setting up once.
Will there be an iPhone version?
Not planned. FitEngineering is a one-person operation and both apps are built natively for Android. Maintaining a second platform properly is more work than I can give it, and doing it badly would help nobody.
